Allpack wanted to do something to help, when Covid-19 hit the UK, so we came up with a packaging idea that would help schoolchildren and employees working from home and also help the NHS.
We designed a cardboard engineered furniture range of desks and chairs for children and adults that was portable, affordable, and environmentally friendly. And for every desk sold, we pledged to donate £1 to the NHS.
The initiative was a great success and we sold nearly 2000 desks!
We were met by a very grateful NHS team at Walsall Manor Hospital and were delighted to present NHS Charities Together with a cheque for £2000!
Walsall Manor Hospital are currently renovating the hospital Chapel and have received a grant but still face a shortfall, so Allpack's donation will go a long way to bridging the gap.
